So today's news will probably be music to the ears of immigrants all across the country: PODER has released a new prepaid debit card specifically targeted toward the Spanish-speaking, immigrant population in the U.S.
Like any other MasterCard®-branded, prepaid credit or debit card, the new PODER prepaid debit card can be used to pay for goods and services wherever debit MasterCard is accepted. The PODER prepaid card also features some other exciting benefits that are both free and automatic:
- Up to $10,000 worth of Accidental Death & Dismemberment insurance,
- Accidental Medical coverage with a hospitalization benefit that covers up to $125.00 per day,
- Legal services in Spanish for commercial, labor, traffic, and immigration issues.
To get a PODER prepaid debit card, you must:
- be at least 18-years-old,
- provide your full name, U.S. snail-mail address, your date of birth and your Social Security number (non-citizens can apply for the card by submitting details of an official, government-issued ID.)
For more information about the PODER prepaid debit card, point your web browser to www.PoderOnline.com.
PODER is currently running a limited-time promotion: cardholders can apply for a second card for a friend or family member for free.
